There’s a HUGE chance that on Friday, there will be new anime in the house! *beams hugely* We’re going on a long shopping trip Friday to self-indulge and MediaPlay is on the list. =D We all love the MediaPlay store in Walker, MI… it’s a HUGE building with wall to wall Books, CDs, Video Games, Computer Games, Collectibles, Magazines, Sheet Music, a limited selection of lyres, Guitars, drums, etc., and Comic Books. They even have a separate Anime’ section that tends to overwhelm me just glancing at it. =) Last time I was there, they even had Anime T-Shirts, Plushies, Action Figures, etc. and some of them were even Imports. (I just about had to drag my sister away from a sugoi but expensive little, imported Cabbit Plushie … I might not be successful this time! XD)

Anyway, I’m going to see if I can get some Anime. I rewatched the X movie today and drooled my way through the Trailers. I’m thinking Ghost in the Shell, Perfect Blue, Silent Mobius, or Blue Seed - I want a one-shot because I don’t want the torture of suspense, knowing I might not be able to get any more for a while. I’m going to stay away from RW/YST - I’ve seen the Episodes and OAVs more times than I can count so they can wait until we move; they’re not going anywhere.

My Chrono Trigger fanfic is slowly developing, but instead of the challenge fanfic it’s developed into an Original Fanfic. I’m hoping to keep it to about 3 chapters, but if I go over - oh well. Maybe this will help me/us break out of this case of writer’s block we’ve contracted for Tempus Temporis.

*sighs* Sitting here drained and fed up. This evening, Sally puts Luna out over our dinner to do her business and to blow off some stink. After dinner, we notice the Freaks (our freaky neighbors) home, but decide to let Luna remain out since she looked like she was enjoying the nice breeze we were having. A few minutes later, Sally notices her cable kinked and looped around one of the landscape timbers on our patio so she puts her shoes on and slips outsite.

She no more than gets to the narrow walkway between the garage and the house when she notices that one of the Freaks’ dogs is loose and making a beeline for Luna. The dog made it almost up our hill before Sally makes her move. I didn’t have time to move before Sally was tripping over Luna bellowing “Get out of here, You!” at the top of her lungs while Luna herself was racing for the door to come inside.

To make a long story short, they cursed her out for yelling at the dog, tells her to go to hell, threatens to sue her, threatens to call the police, and finally going inside claiming they were calling the police. They even claimed it was a different, black dog (all I saw was a black CAT) and it wasn’t their dog, that it was on their property the whole time. (Bull.)

So, Sally comes inside and calls Mom at work, informing her in a snarl that we’re getting a fence installed. *sighs and shakes his head* The police never came… I didn’t think they would actually call. I actually wish they had, because we would have told the police our side and maybe even filed a harrassment complaint.

I suppose the neighbor situation is 90% of our lethargy. We’re having to put up with so many idiots offline, that our patience for online things has waned. Sally’s already announced that in our new house we’ll be getting windows rated for use in Hurricane prone areas (they’re almost impossible to break), buttoning up the house, fortify any weak areas, and then putting a privacy fence around our property. I think she’s slipping back into hermit mode again; and frankly, I don’t blame her. She’s been spouting the desire to put our new computer room in the basement of our new home so long as we can eliminate moisture and get some natural light so she has a place to hide and decompress. I think that’s the one thing she misses about her computer room up north - it was basically an extension of her room and the rest of us visited her there. The way my temper and patience has been going, I’ll probably need to set up a little cubbyhole just like it for myself.

Anyway… my aforementioned patience is about the size of your average dust mite so this Neko-Baka is off to go hide in a dark place and play Square games until visions of Time-Traveling Heroes, Gunblades, and strains of Mitsuda dance in his head.

Darn my favorite radio station, though. LOL They played “Rollar Coaster” by the Red-Hot Chili Peppers(?) several times while I was designing this layout and now I have it stuck firmly in my head. I’ve been singing it under my breath ever since. Oh well, I suppose it helped me - I haven’t designed that fast before. XD

LOL Oops. The new layout is up. Completely by accident, but it’s up. XD I didn’t mean to publish the new layout until I had everything done, but I completely forgot to uncheck “Rebuild all Files” in the Templates Menu when I went to save it. =)P

Please forgive any weird colors, links, or layouts… I’ll fix them later tonight.

Happy 4th of July, Everyone!!! =D

Working slowly on getting my new “Ultimate Road Trip” layout done. It’s going slowly since I’m having to periodically help Mom and Sally with Luna. Seems like a good portion of the neighborhood like is obsessed with illegal fireworks and have been firing them off almost non-stop today. While I love fireworks, I’m gradually converting over to an intense hatred of the road-side fare. Luna has a typical case of Noise Phobia and today has - so far - hidden under the computer desk, behind the couch, crammed herself into the lowest shelf of an entertainment center, downstairs she tried to hide a storage cabinet, inside the catch-basin of our wet-sink, and is currently *goes on a brief hunting trip* crammed under my mom’s 1.5 sq. ft. nightstand. I guess it’s better than under one of the beds, but I’d really like to know - 1.) How she got under there! (Luna’s a fairly big dog) 2.) How she’s going to get out from under there. XD Then again, she was able to get out of the Entertainment Center without a hitch, so I guess she’s alright.

Anyway, I’ve been chipping away at that layout. It’s turned into an Epoch & Crono deal… I might throw the racing craft or Johnny on the comment or archive page. I’m just so frustrated with the internet, this town, and life as a whole the thought of going on a nice, long Road Trip has become pretty attractive. Since I can’t do that, I’ll make a layout and maybe do a fluff story to go along with it. I mean, when you think about it, Chrono Trigger was the very definition of the Ultimate Road Trip. XD Now that it’s closer to being done, I can safely say that I stole part of Sal’s layout. I tried to make it unique. I found a brush of stamps and postmarks and did those in the background, there’s a bar of caution tape, and then I went and played with the upper right hand corner of my image of Chrono and the Epoch and made a bunch of tiny boxes. I also chose a dark green that - hopefully - isn’t too obnoxious and then popped in my old sneaky MIDI. I’ll probably end up playing with it more once I have it up. My splash page is kind of blah too, but I have stuff that needs to be placed on there. I don’t know if I should put my “Anachronous is the personal weblog of Jasson blah blah blah” disclaimer on there, though. It just isn’t fitting right. Maybe I’ll just write it as a sticky post and remove the date header from sticky posts.

Gawd, I really jumped the gun. I downloaded the backups for Lunaescence.com this evening and then realized it was only Friday. XD So, we get to download them again tomorrow.

Tempus Temporis… is a bitch. No, correction. I am Tempus Temporis’s bitch. Damn muses. I am still stuck! X_x Not that the trio of zits on my ass I earned from sitting in this chair in such hot, humid weather has helped any.
