*yawn* Just got out of work, so I’m feeling pooped; but I wanted to post a quickie thank you to Torrent and France =)

Torrent: Thanks! That would be great if it’s not too much trouble. Honestly, I have some nice action shots… I’m just not sure what I can do with them. I’ll post what I have here in small versions. Hehe I’d love to see that link with the LoTR weaponry too =) I found a LOT of fantasy weaponry at By-The-Sword.com, which include many of the weapons from LoTR plus costumes and accessories. =)

France: ROFL! I suppose I could just go to an Anime Convention as Legolas =) I’ve certainly seen enough anime-esque artwork of him *grin* Thanks for letting me know about that header. I shrunk it down to match the fanfic areas and moved the version over so it’s in the same place as the fanfic area’s subtitle. Is that better? =) Thanks again!

Well, finally finished my layout for the Fanfiction Archive. The Layout is “Black Raven” from the game “War of Genesis.” It’s meant for resolutions of 800×600 and above. Eventually, we’re switching most of the domain over to this layout or one similar, but I wanted to take a crack at skinning the Archive before I tried the MB and FanArt. I don’t think I’ve ever worked with so much CSS in my life. ^^;; I’ll probably continue to remove unnecessary tags and play more with formatting with the CSS file. Then it’s off to skin the other stuff as I get time. I just want to get the page to something we can actually update rather than put it up and ignore. My “Eldritch” design is nice, but not something we can easily update.

Still haven’t found the right pic of Legolas for my blog here. I’m finding quite a few good images of Legolas… but they’re almost all fangirl fare. I have several good action shots of him, but I can’t figure out what to do with them. My only idea of whites and blues sucked with Legolas and once turned into white, black, and neon green rocked with Raven. =P I took a trip around my favorite blogs the other night for some inspiration and was blown away by everyone else’s designs! Talk about suddenly feeling insignificant and amatuerish! X_x Damn, you folks are GOOD!

Between Legacies of the Fallen, LoTR: TTT, and hunting down pictures of elves I am stuck BAD on the pointy earred folk. I’d love to describe some of the bizarre dreams I’m having, but all I can remember is that they were weird and filled with elves. LOL I am seriously going to have to order some of the costumes I’ve been running across… I’ve found latex elven ears and spirit gum… several outfits with gorgeous celtic knotwork and then that sight with “elven” weaponry. Too bad my house is too small for a Halloween party and I hate this town too much to go Trick or Treating. =) Might be fun just to dress up like that and wander around town though… *ponders and winks* I’m getting down to the point where I’m going to have to write a LoTR or just plain fantasy story to get myself off my elf fettish. I just don’t like having… *counts* two? three? uncompleted stories out there and then starting another.

LMAO!! I just found Legolas’s Elven Daggers on a Medieval Weapons site. *GRIN* I’ve already cut one out for my headers. It cut out perfectly. This is the first time I’ve EVER gotten the headers ready before the main layout. Normally I loathe doing the headers, but after finding the knives - complete with the replica cross-insert sheath - I just HAD to grab them for the headers. Now to comb through the pictures site Torrent from RL showed me for a layout. =)

Sorry, Nette. I’ve been busy. *shrugs* All I tend to want to do at night when I get home from work is crash. Tonight I had a particulary aggravating evening - nothing major or really rantable - just the usual bunches of red-necks, idiots, and brats that needed to be thrown on the barbie. ^_~ (JUST KIDDING!) Me love ya, Pretty Lady. Sorry for being the King of the Lurkers.

Well, it’s new layout time. I really still like this layout, but it’s beginning to tip over into that “ehhh” sentiment. After watching all 3 hours of LoTR: The Two Towers @_@ I think I’ve talked myself right into an elf layout. I don’t really want “elf looking purty” kind of thingy; I wanted more of a badass elf about to open a can of some nice, flavorful whup ass on some poor, defenseless orc. *sticks his tongue firmly into his cheek and grins* I thought that with all the Bloom Girls out and about, that’d be all I’d find. ROFL Instead, I’ve found some really great pictures of Orlando Bloom’s portrayl of Legolas. I posted on the RL (Haha) to see if any of the Bloom girls there knew where I could dig up some nice shots too. I really don’t even need shots from the LoTRs movie, any ol’ portrait of an elf would do, I guess. But with the shots I currently have, I think I’m probably going to end up doing a fan-service layout. *GRIN* Kate showed me this awesome gallery (Thanks!!! *grovel*), but I don’t think I’d feel comfortable chopping up enayla’s art even if she gave me permission. Too gorgeous, I guess.

And on the subject of elves… I completely emptied my Sylvan Elf’s quiver a LONG time ago - (orcs and wisps, what can I say? My silly elf’s life is so tough! =P) - need to log into the game in the near future and fletch. Hear that, Momma elf? Your silly son is contemplating showing up for once!!! =)P

Blah… what else… what else… what else? Sally’s already said her piece about the mutts…. *thinks* Gah, I dunnno. Haven’t had time to touch my fic, so no news there. I can’t find my Zeal notes from way back, so I guess I’m going to have to play Chrono Trigger and retake them.

Sorry, Troung… just really wasn’t in the mood to talk. Congratulations on getting to Beta-Test the next FF game! Very awesome stuff! =) Great new layout you have too!
