Blog DisclaimerStill feel like I’m being mostly ignored on the RL. Like Asa said in her comment in the last entry, it sucks even worse when you know they’re doing it intentionally. Generally my posts are getting between 20 and 50 views, and few - if any at all - replies. The rate seems to be slightly better in replies, but not by much. It’s not unusual for people to act as though I never posted. Their eyes seem to skip right over my post to the next one, which makes me wonder.
It seems to be especially bad in the fanfiction forum. In there, it seems to be populated by a certain clique of members. Anyone who isn’t in that group generally can’t even expect their fic to even be looked at - forget about replies. At first, I thought this was because I was posting fics that had little to do with Ronin Warriors. Afterall, the RL was aimed at Ronin Warriors fandom. But then, I realized others were posting fics that were RW either and were getting tons of replies.
It seems to be the same people, over and over again, who seem to be able to attract at least 2 pages of replies and page views numbering with at least 3 digits. I did the math; and everyone else only gets an average of 15 views and 2 replies.
Pretty sad, isn’t it?
I keep trying to find it in me to write up a scathing rant to end all rants, to open up the floodgates and let my frustration come roaring out like other people have done in recent weeks. Instead, I just feel jaded and very tired.

Hey Jass … I know what you mean ^^; I left the RL (2 month sabbatical) because of that very reason … It seemed to me that everyone was much more interested in talking about pixie stix and getting married to their favorite ronin. Which is all fun and stuff, but only ever once in a while x.x I felt ignored (I still do x.x).
I actually look for your posts ^_^; at least I know you have something interesting to say! *glomps*
When I get off my vacation I will look up your posts and comment on them ^_^ okay?

LOL, Jass…I read just about everything! Well…except for the fanfiction, the fanart,and the RPG forums cause most of the things in there are really kind of…uh…the same? I just don’t reply cause I don’t have anything intelligent to contribute. =P
Yeah, I avoid the main lounge too, a lot. Those party posts just aren’t my thing. ^^
And Ooks! You mean you’re not lurking around on the Lounge like the rest of us? =P

I know. =) You guys are really great about replying to me. I’ve been moving back into Lurker mode myself on there. I find the constant party, marriage, and sugar-high threads stupid - they’re fun once in a while, but those things have just become plain annoying. There’s very little discussion on there that’s actually interesting to me.
*grins* I’ve been making it my mission to play Secret Agent Man. *grins* I think I found Cora, but all she did was laugh at me. =)

Funny but I don’t even bother to post my stories on the Lounge anymore. Because my stories don’t involve some kind of overdone plot that is screaming Mary-Sue, the Lounge readers aren’t interested. And you are right, their are cliques. There are the sugar, young ones. The mods, admins, you, Asa in ours. Etc, etc. I suppose cliques happen unintentionally and we all share similar interests. And we usually don’t write all about sugar…
Anywho I digress. *glomps Jasson* I don’t know why people ignore you. I always read your posts. People don’t apprecaite the people who actually start good topics, they only like the topics that start trouble and controversy.

Wow you updated alot since I last looked. *glomps* I am glad to be talking with you again. I have to agree on what all of you guys have been saying.
I am finding that I can’t find anything to post. Its like the board has been taken over by really young kids. And then they get into this cliques and the older ones are like the bad guys. Not only do the sugar high posts annoy me but the I keep seeing the same threads pop up over and over again. GAH. Then the popularity contests where the old memebers are forgotten completely. Those shouldn’t even exist.
I rarely read any fanfics anymore. People don’t take the time to actually research before they write. They only pick one traite of the character and stretch that as far as they can go, they use stero types, horried Mary Sues/Gary Sues, and then they can’t even take a critque when they ask for one! And whats with all the slash and yaoi anymore? I have nothing against that type but people can’t seem to write it! When they do its always about sex or sugar high. When if you are gay or lesbian thats not the main thing that matters! I don’t even bother posting my stories anymore. For people don’t seem interested in the real stuff.
