If you haven’t guessed, I’ve gone back into Lurk mode. There just doesn’t seem to be much going on lately and after my unexpected two week sabatical, I’m finding it hard getting back in the swing of things. Then add in the whole Maverick BS on GreyIt (How immature can you get!?), the continuing issues on the RL, and the lack of interesting topics on all the boards… I just guess I’m living up to my title of “Lurker Extraordinarie.”

I’ve been having tons of fun on Go-Gaia.com, it’s just more active and fun in some ways. I’m finding more things to talk about on there than my other message boards and while there’s more kiddies there’s also more intellegent posters. I’ve already moved my post count clear up to 57 posts, which is almost unheard of for me. I’ve also had some insanely good luck with their reward system today. Within five hours of each other, I’ve come away with a rare item and a 1000 G bonus. (They have avatars you make and customize with clothes and accessories you buy in shops or earn via random “Events.” Sometimes it’s items, sometimes it’s just extra money)

I’m a little disappointed, despite all my advertising and invitations, no one else has bitten on adding their fanfiction to our archives. I suppose more will be interested after the Holidays wind down, but I really thought there’d be more with school out and everything. Oh well.

I hate phone companies. =( Basically Sally told the whole story about what happened on her blog. Thanks to a very angry Mom, the phone just got turned on about 45 minutes ago with the new company instead of the week we were originally suspecting. We had been checking e-mail and boards via the computers at the public library, but between work and their time limit, I wasn’t making it there as often as Sally to use them.

Anyway, back to playing catch-up… lalala

Heh ^^;; Thanks for the compliments on my new layout! That snowflake icon was actually part of a script I downloaded for my sister’s layout to make snowflakes drift down the page. She opted not to use it, but the icon was just too cool not to use.

Basically she and I opted to trade layouts for this round. She made mine and I made her’s. =) Wasn’t the one I was hoping for… she’s been sketching out this hilarious Doctor Suess one with the Grinch for a bit, but I still like it. It probably won’t be up more than a month… I already have a Legend of Dragoon layout halfway done, so I’ll probably leave it up for the Holidays and then change it after the new year. (Unless Sally finishes that Grinch one! *giggle*)

Sharra, Amanda Swiftgold, and Matt-Halo are bad influences - all I can say. *grins sheepishly* After doing Neo’s quiz from my last entry, I started talking about doing one for myself. Nothing serious, just my usual - “Hey, I’d like to do something like that some day.” After talking with those three… my usual rambles have turned into something real. =)P I have a LoD Element quiz in the making right now. Still working on the images and fine-tuning the questions, but I’ll post it here when I’m done. Trying to make it so the answers aren’t totally predictable. It was going completely X rated the way the answers were going LOL ‘Feasting on the flesh of dead rodents’ came up.. along with plenty of sexual innuendos… I’ve censored some of them, changed them around, and added different responses in… they’re probably going to get answers they weren’t predicting. I think Sharra has Kongol & Miranda seriously on the brain, so I think she might be a little disappointed when it doesn’t quite point to who she thinks. XD Actually, looking at some of my questions, some of these might be a little predictable. Esepcially the ones for Blue Elements. Oh well, before I spread it around too much I’ll have some folks who know LoD a little better than me try it out and let me know what they think and how I could improve it.

Work sucks. The Holidays in terms of stores suck too. *grumbles* Christmas music is cool… but not over and over for 8 + hours. X_x I’m coming home and either blasting the hardest rock or the perkiest J-Pop I own to get the twitching out of my system. Would someone please explain to me why a little nick in a candle right by the bloody wick ruins the whole thing?? Good Lord… it’s planned to be burned by the lady who wanted it… not a gift… I mean, within a very few minutes the nick wouldn’t even be there. *shakes his head* I spent nearly a half hour digging through the candles trying to find this broad a candle that wasn’t “damaged.” Some of these so-called damages were damn near microscopic!!!! Also, why in the world would we crack open a box of plates to sell someone only ONE PIECE from the set!? *snarls* We also have these serving bowls that are made of hand-blown and shaped glass from Italy. These pieces come with a tag that explain the process and that the flaws are natural and part of the charm of these pieces. Instead… some ass returned it, claimimg it was defective. *grumbles* And then there’s the people who interpret an item just kind of thrown into the spot above a Sale Sign that it’s on sale. What part of “16 Piece Silverware Set” applies to toddler’s Superman PJs I’ll never know. *blows a sigh* I seriously need to finish up school and QUICK. Jasson might have to turn into Kongol. Then again… *ponders* putting on an extra two feet, 2 inches of height might help me hide those damn, electronic magnets better. *waggles eyebrows*
