*falls over* Theres something to be said about small favors. The Family Independance Agency really came through for us. They’ve agreed to pay our entire $400+ heating bill PLUS help us buy food along with emergecy money if we need it. That’s a huge relief; they also want a look at our property taxes, so here’s hoping they’ll help with the $900+ we owe there.

Now, that just leaves renewing Lunaescence before May 13th. $12 for the name, and then somewhere between $40 - $128 depending on what plan we choose. Lunaescence.com is barely above 30MB of space and 340MB of bandwidth total, so we could safely choose a more conservative plan without any impact to the actual site. We’re having a Garage Sale this Thursday, so we’re hoping to make a quick $12 and get our domain renewed ASAP. We’re afraid if we don’t that some idiot will scoop it up for the sole purpose of forcing us to pay an outrageous amount to get it back. We’ll decide on the actual space once we get our Federal Tax returns sometime the week of the 10th. (I’m sure Luna and Echo are going to love Sally, she’s going to be scheduling a V - E - T appointment for both of them as soon as she has her tax return in her hands! XD)

Well, in terms of Taxes…. it looks like I’m okay… I’ll be getting some refunds (thank GOD), but both mom and Sally owe money. =/ Mom owes $92 on her Federal and Sally owes $49 on her state taxes. We haven’t tackled our local taxes yet. We are so burned out, it isn’t funny.

I hate waiting for sleep aids to take effect. It’s like I’m some mutant hero with the ability to totally resist the effects of the shit when only a half hour before I was ready to fall asleep on my own in Grandma’s old chair.

I dunno if this has ever been made clear… but some of these Japanese fanart sites really scare me. lol I don’t mean that as an insult either. I really enjoy surfing these sites; the artists seem to have unending talent and I’m always astounded at the extent of their work. It’s just sometimes, their sense of humor catches me by surprise. *grin* And I mean adult humor.

Sooner or later I’m going to get bored and this damn crap is going to take effect. X_x We wanted to get an early start tomorrow and damnit, I need to get to bed.

Blah, took me all day, but I finished the new layout.

This layout is darn near solid CSS, though not as much as I’d like. I had to trash some of the CSS because it wasn’t working for me and had to revert back to the old HTML. But, it looks pretty good. =)

In case anyone’s wondering, here’s the summary of Blue Submarine No.6:

In the near future, the oceans have risen, causing all land at sea level to be flooded. With the expansion of the oceans, humanity has found a new enemy in Zorndyke. A war has erupted between the surface dwellers and the sea dwellers, and mankind is placing all of its jopes in the new vessel Blue Submarine No. 6 and her crew.

It’s a really great looking anime, using a LOT of computer generated images. It resembles Lain a little bit, but it sounds really intriguing. =)

Kind of sad I wasn’t able to do that “Tranquility” layout. EQ recently updated their graphics engine so I can’t get past server select, much less log in to hunt down screenshots. I had the thought to play with Sally’s old manipulated screenshot of the Steamfont Mountains, but she’s optimized the hell out of it so it’s not high enough quality for me to further manipulate into a satisfactory blog layout. Oh well, something to do once we get a new computer. *waves the Mega Millions ticket he picked up* Up to $150 million, so here’s hoping.

Been playing with my “Legacies of the Fallen” story in the meantime. I think I’ve talked myself into turning my rogue knight into one of the villians. He certainly has enough motive =) I think he’ll probably be one of the best villians I’ve ever made if I do.

Blah blah blah… what else? Still haven’t moved. It’s not looking like our buyers are going to get their funding, our Realtor said they’re down to a 50% chance they’ll be able to get enough to buy our house. Meanwhile, our other Realtor, the one who is working to get us to the place we want to be is strongly suggesting several routes for funding. One way he’s suggesting could net us only $50 - $80 monthly payments until we could pay it back when this house sold. Sounding very good. We have another showing tomorrow, so here’s hoping. In the meanwhile, we still haven’t been able to get our taxes done. =P Found some tax software that was very misleading. It looked like it was including free E-Filing, which turned out to be a refund only after you paid for it with a Credit Card. It looked like it had the capability to do State taxes which turned out to be yet another refund. Needless to say, we’re thinking about filing for an extension and praying none of us owes anything.

Oh, the fun. =P

Okay, okay… I live. Kinda, sorta, maybe. Once again, I’ve become the King of the Lurkers. =P Dunno what else to say. *shrugs*

I’ve made myself a new layout, this time I’m going to try making it entirely a CSS layout. Going to be interesting to see if I can do it. It’s going to be a Blue Submarine No.6 layout, featuring some of the words from Evanescence’s song “Going Under.” Get it? Submarine, “Going Under”? =) hehe I have way too much fun.

Good fucking Lord… do we still have a lot of shit! X_x We cleaned the garage yesterday and today. Lots of crap and lots of trash. One of these days the weather will cooperate and we’ll have a moving sale. I still have to go through my comic book and card collection like Sally’s already done, but I give too. Most modern comic books and collectable trading cards are mass-produced and really aren’t worth the price you pay for them anymore. You have to wait at least twenty years for them to appreciate in value and maybe not even then. That being said, I had no idea my sister had so much My Little Pony shit. @_@ Much of that, my friends, has hit the twenty year rule. XD Makes me wonder how much it might be worth, even in the condition much of it’s in.

Now… if only I could find my He-Man crap, I’d be all set. XD
