Well, I have been feeling mighty l33t lately. I have single handedly modded the crap out of the Fanfic archive.

I took established mods and used them for the groundwork for much more ambitious mods. I even completely removed people who haven’t posted a story and put them on their own roster page. I even made a spot where you put in just your DeviantArt user name and it automagically links it up.

Yeah, I’m feeling good. Real good.

Of course, the moment my ego reached maximum inflation the MySQL tables decided it would be a grand time to take a dirt nap. =]P Popped my ego so fast it gave me a head rush! lmao! Seems the muses of the Internet are determined to keep my ego in check for me. How nice of them!

Yeah, I crashed the archive again. lol This time I had backups, so I just uploaded them and went to bed. Of course, when I woke up, the archive had decided no categories had stories in them even though we’re up to 159 total fics. So yeah, went through and put the numbers back by hand. That was fun.

Sometimes I think the more I learn the more I’m likely to royally screw something up. =) But at least I’m learning.
