I stayed up too late last night this morning. I spent hours screwing around with my new layout — trying to figure out how to make special layouts for custom pages and getting a new plugin to work. Wasn’t as big a fight as Livepress was, but it still took me long enough. I slept in late and I still feel like I need more sleep.

Anyroad — I need to be calling and getting my next round of books and Macromedia Studio MX 2004 ordered. The books don’t bother me so much as the $200 I’ll have to burn for Studio MX. According to the business office, I’m $88 in the hole until my next disbursment of financial aid comes in. I have $58 set aside for books, but I would really like to save that for as long as I can.

I’m working up the questions I’ll need to ask when I call the school, since I’ll have to speak with three different departments to set this up. Last time I called, the lady told me I wouldn’t have enough before she asked her manager. Damn near gave me a fucking heart attack! Just one of these semesters I hope I’ll have enough money left over so I don’t have to worry about this shit.

I’m still passing algebra, which is a good sign. I’m glad I’m taking it now though, instead of waiting. I have classmates who held off taking it until they’re out of classes that don’t require it as a prereq. I was never good at math before, but this time I keep having these “eureka” moments where I suddenly understand it. So I guess it was a good thing I waited so long.

My INF class is supposed to be starting tomorrow, so I have everything laid out for that. I still have to install the training software, but I can’t do anything with it anyway until I have my class ID. I’m supposed to have access right now, but so far nothing. I suppose I’ll have to keep checking back.
