28.June.2006

Well, I passed the spring semester with three A’s and one B+. =) Not a bad haul, if I do say so myself.

I registered for my fall classes this evening, taking a bunch of advanced HTML and programming stuff. (Woot!) Good news is that after Fall semester, I’ll only have three classes left to take: e-commerce, speech, and a one week seminar on writing my resume and other junk.

I feel like I did back when I was playing EQ and I had only one bulb left to a level; or maybe when I’m trying to level my favorite team of Final Fantasy characters to a level to take on a tough boss.

I’m tired, but I’m not going to rest until I have it. I want this degree so bad I can taste it.

Tomorrow is going to be a busy day. I’m going to call the college and talk to my advisor about whether or not I could get that 1 week seminar out of the way yet this summer. Finally, I’m going to register at a few internship search sites and see if I can dredge up some contacts around town that are also in Web design / development.

At first I was down thanks to the news that they’re increasing the interest rates on student loans, but after looking at my step plan absolutely nothing could burst this bubble.

Watch out world, here I come!
