Whoa, I suddenly realized I’m turning into a purist. =]P As I’ve written on the dictionary, I’ve been on a Naruto kick lately. Manga scanlations, fansubs, the whole nine yards. I’ve been shocking myself when I’m suddenly understanding more Japanese to the point I’m recognizing when the subtitles are off.
Since I’ve gotten bored with the filler arcs, I watched a few dubbed episodes of the Chuunin Exam. And I couldn’t stop cringing. I’m starting to understand the opinion that the seiyuu contribute quite a bit to the character’s personality.
Maybe it’s because I’ve gotten so used to their Japanese voices and that’s why they didn’t sound right. Of course, I suddenly zeroed in on synchronization problems in the dub too. XD
Anyway… yesh. Jasson has gotten himself majorly sidetracked. XDXDXDXD
