Okay, I get it. My spelling and grammar skills have decayed since I started programming. You [the brats at Lunaescence] can stop citing me as the reason why your stories should be allowed in with or without spelling mistakes.

From here on out, I’m back behind the scenes over at Lunaescence. I’ve revoked my own account’s validation so my stories have to be approved just like everyone else’s.

Sorry if this sounds pissy, but the attitude-filled e-mail responses have gotten really old.

Why do finals have to absolutely kill you? I BOMBED my programming final. Absotively, posilutely bombed. Q_Q

I swear, I’ve studied my ass off and I still bombed it. 90 questions right out of 165. I think that with this next round of textbook sales I’m going to burn a little money and get a bunch of used programming books so maybe I can figure out where I went wrong.

At any rate, that isn’t the reason for my rant. (While it’s a perfectly good reason, it’s not the reason aside from contributing to my already crabby mood.) Yes, it’s another “I want feedback, damnit” emo rant.

Huh, I suppose this explains why the archive has suddenly had so many people joining in a single day.

The rules pretty much aren’t that much different than ours, aside from the fact they’ve suddenly gone from being an open archive to a moderated one overnight. They still allow Reader Insert stories, but have banned the blank where people put their information. They’ve also written that HTML isn’t allowed nor is single chapter author notes.

I’m not too sure what to think of this, since the rules aren’t that different from ours, yet we have so many people joining. Blah. Oh well. So long as they have decent-quality stories, I’ll take the refugees. =)

Comparing their rules… my only problem with single chapter author notes is when there’s nothing following them. I can’t tell what the author’s writing is actually like from playful banter or a series of notes about a story’s content. Publish them if you want to warn the reader of something, like Swifty did for her RW fic, Ragnarok. I decided since I accepted one with reservations that I voiced, I had better add a note in the rules. While I was in there, I also deleted the rule about lists, since we haven’t gotten any.

School’s going well, I’m holding a 4.0 so far. *knocks on wood* I didn’t mean to get a 4.0, I was just trying for my old GPA, but I’ve somehow pulled it off. But since I finished psychology, I’ve been having fairly easy classes too. We’ll see what happens this fall when both of us attempt math. *groans* In the meantime, I have about $240 going out this next week for books and software. >_> I really need to toss some things up on eBay and get rid of my excess books on Amazon.

Besides… I want the next HP book. XD
